Accessing O-250 350 with ProcommPlus, Wyse50 emulation if I open a cap file it is not capturing all data and it is filled with garbage characters. If the SMT modem is defined as Wyse I would think I would be getting a clean capture file?

Any ideas?

Thanks, Kevin

Hard to say i do the same thing and it works fine. Try using TVI920 as the emulation on the procomm and see if it cleans it up

Thanks Ken. That cleans up the garbage characters. But it still won't capture all the data. For instance if I do Menu 6-Option 3 for CPU Serial Channel it only captures the first screen:
(edited for clarity)
Channel Active Type
1 - Async1 SMT
2 - Async2
3 - Async3
4 - Console Service

If I select option 1 or 4 I will see the information about the port but it doesn't show up in the capture file. It must be a Procomm thing. Pretty weird. Other screens are similar where the data won't make it to the cap file.

I have seen this on other menus and it must be the way it is presented to the screen. It does the same thing on nodes in menu 15.

What I have done for these type of screens is use the Edit->Screen To->File while the capture file is open and that seems to get them in there OK. A little more time to get it in there but it works. Thanks
