IM TRYING TO REMEBER HOW TO PERFORM A GARBAGE COLLECT ON A BRANCH. IF I REMEMBER YOU HAD TO CALL OCTEL TO HAVE THEM SET THE SERVICE BIT TO ALLOW YOU TO ACCOMPLISH THIS , ALSO I THINK IT WAS DONE BY AUTOVON TONES. IS THIS CORRECT AND COULD SOMEONE HELP ME OUT SO I CAN RUN A GARBAGE COLLECT......

You need the Eng bit to run the garbage collect if it runs into issues.
You may be able to have it turned on but it would involve a charge to do it and a working modem into the system (RDAC)
The system has been out of production for 15 years so it may be time to replace it.
