1.I upgrade some users from 4 digit extensions to 5 digit extensions, and also their voicemail boxes. Now, the voicemail light doesn't come on again. And the users don't know when new messages coming in ...

2.Also, how do I change the calling number from the auto-attendant. When external users call from the auto-attendant, I see a number 7777 as the calling number. However, I cannot route calls because I have used 77XXX as a 5 digit extension. So therefore, I cannot declare 7777 on the isdn public-numbering page.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

I think you can go into "cha attendant 1" and change the ext.

As I understand it, Octel does not support a mixed dial plan. All of the mailboxes have to be the same length: 4 or 5 digit.

If you put a trace up on the port used to send the LWC code, you can see the digits sent by the Octel to light the MWI.
