Would anyone happen to know where i can find a doc that describes that alarms that the Octel has? i am being asked to monitor a few octels so we can remove our contract with someone else, getting the alarms is not an issue, but i would like a refernce to look at when i respond to them.

You should have a CD that has all of the info on it. What kind of Octel is it? If you do not have the CD then i must have been misplaced after the install or you never got it.

If you give me an ftp site to upload to i can send them to you

basically if my alarm system gets an alarm, i want to know how to look up it's description & the steps needed to resolve it, just like the Avaya maint manual

Well the Status log interruption guide is the only thing that you would use to do just that.

Not sure what else i can do for you. If you read the codes and look them up in the guide then it will tell you the action needed to fix the problem.

I have today mailed the OCTEL 200/300 alarmdescriptions to you, as you haven´t told us what OCTEL system you have instaaled at your sites.
I hope that you can use the document.
