We have an Octel 350 that won't transfer to extensions in the auto attendants. It will transfer the caller directly to the mailbox greeting. This is happening for both mailbox type 30 and 32. We're running Aria 3.10.09-1. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Do you know if the mailboxes have the extended absence greeting on? If it is it will send it right to the MB and not the EXT

That or do they have a different ext number in the ext field that does not match the mailbox?

I've confirmed that the mailboxes I've been dialing don't have an extended absence greeting or different extensions. No aliases either. Very odd since it's a type 32 mailbox I'm calling. I even created a temporary type 32 and it did the same thing, so it appears to be a system wide issue.

can you post a screen shot of the type 30 and 32 as well as one for a user that does not work?

Here's Menu 1.1 with the system info removed:

I'm pretty sure it worked properly at one point. It was just brought to our attention, but the system has been in service for over 10+ years.

Well i think i see the problem. The number of digits for ECP is set to 7 and the ext numbers are 5 digit. The system is defaulting to the mailbox as it is looking for 7 and not 5 for ext transfers

That did it! Thanks. Now I just need to hunt down the person that made that change!
