Hi everyone I'm installing a new Octel 350 on a 81c
I'm looking for the connection information to the network to be able to do telnet sessions to access remotely...
I've scanned through the Docs...I know I need a uds 10 or uds 100..I have one of each....Does it connect to the 1st ENET port(DB15)? I have programmed the Ip address in MENU 22 and reset the Lan Card for it to be active.....I can Ping From Menu 20 Item 5 to my network....I am using Procomm for telnetting....

anyone have any ideas?

Since this involves solely communicating with an Octel I suggest that you post your inquiry to the Avaya: Octel messaging solutions forum at

We use one of the async ports on the ccf card. You may have to go into the system and turn one of the async ports on if you want to keep your modem hooked up to the console port.

You plug the lantronix box in to the network and give it a static ip address. Then hook the async port up to the lantronix box using a db9 to db25 cable. I am not sure if you need a null modem on it....

It's been awhile since I've worked on this.
