Is it possible to just add an additional 5vdc and 12vdc power supply to cabinet 1 of an existing octel 350 with only one of each power supply currently? Is there a feature bit needed? Can it be done hott? Chances of a reboot when adding the redundant power supplies?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this.

Tim

Yes, it is possible. It has been a while since I've done this, but I believe all you have to do is plug the new power supply in. There is no feature bit or software configuration.

Thank you both very much. Ken do you know the likelihood of a restart while adding the power supplies? Would you do at low traffic period?

I have never seen one restart during this process
