Hi everyone
I'm installing a new Octel 350 on a 81c
I'm looking for the CONNECTION information to the network to be able to do telnet sessions for remote access...
I've scanned through the Docs...I know I need a uds 10 or uds 100..I have one of each....Does it connect to the 1st ENET port(DB15)? I have programmed the IP address in MENU 22 and reset the Lan Card for it to be active.....I can Ping From Menu 20 Item 5 to my network....I will be using Procomm for telnetting....I had started a thread on Nortel I was told this is the proper place for Octel/Avaya products

You can only connect the UDS telnet server to a RS 232 port on the Octel 350. One of the J ports on the back plane is what you need to connect to.

The ENET is only for the LAN card in he Octel for digital networking or the OAS applications.

The ip would be programed in the uds that procomm would connect to.
