I have an Octel 350 with Aria 3.00.09-1 software. The system has 4 file cards. If I number them 1 to 4 (left to right) I see that 2 and 4 are the active (ACT) cards and 1 and 3 are standby (SBY). I suspect that the system may have switched CPU's. CPU switchover is set to Normal: N Abnormal: Y. If I change it to Normal: Y will it attempt to switch automatically? Would it be immediate?
Thank you in advance.

No and no. The only time it will change is if the system is booted or if it reboots due to a system error, The normal means if you just restart it will change and abnormal is only if it reboots due to a software or hardware failure.
