Who can I contact to have the engineering bit enabled to fix a dead drive that will fail garbage collect because the number of bad messages is over 50 during the drive replacement procedure?

You can call Avaya to have the Eng bit turned on and if you are not a customer they may or may not do it any longer.

Not sure how you would call them if you do not have a ID number from them but you can try 800-242-2121

If they will not help you we can get it turned on

Thanks Ken,
Appearantly Avaya will support the Octel until 2011.
I thought Avaya disconntinued all support last year on the OMD.

No not at all. We will also support it for longer than Avaya will i am sure
