Can anyone help me? I have an Octel 250 and a Fujitsu 9600. When a caller calls to the auto-attendent and enters an extension number that is forwarded(to an outside line) it drops the caller. Thanks in advance!!
I assume that if you call the ext from a different phone the call goes to the outside number? if it does then you may have to change the class of service for the octel ports to a feature or you may have to change the transfer sequence to allow some time for the call to set up IE change the transfer to fppnppp in menu 6 1
I meant the class of service for the ports on the PBX that are attached to the octel. They may not be allowed to transfer a call that is forwarded outside the system
Ok now I think we are making progress, but when I tested, The vm system never let go of the call( music on hold playing the whole time) while it did ring to my cell phone once then disconnected before I could answer it....
You must have it set to transfer supervision y see below change it to know and it will release the call it is putting the call on soft hold if it is a y
