We currently have a NEC 2400 utilizing 14 ports of the Octel and the Cisco Call Manager utilizing the last 2. The problem occurs when someone from the NEC tries to leave a message on a Cisco unit the voicemail account is the callers account and not the called. I've witnessed this on 4 occasions. I dont know how to pinpoint our fix this issue!I'am a NEC certified Tech and have only administrator experience on the Octel. I need some assistance!

I am unclear as to what is going on? What is occurring when this happens?

When station A calls station B and the call goes RNA into the Octel, instead of getting station B's voicemail account station A receives its own voicemail account. I've only seen this happen when station A is NEC and station B is Cisco Call Manger but I've been told that even Cisco to Cisco may have the same problem.

Well i think it has to do with the fact that the string coming from the Cisco does not match exactly with the string from the NEC.

We have this working at other sites with out a problem

The Cisco just needs to be tweeked to send the right caller info

I would need to look at the system agian to see where the differences are
