We are moving employees from one building with a 4 digit dialplan to a building with a 5 digit dialplan. We are adding 1 digit to the 4 digit extension to make things easier on these employees. The PBX takes the extesnion fine becuase the extension were already in our dialplan just never used before. When we go to put these extensions in Octel we get a message stating the extension is being used. When we go to view the extension the Octel states it doesn't exist. Is there something we need to do to let the Octel know we are using a new range of extensions? We don't need to change the extension length because all of our other extensions are already 5-digits. This should be no different than adding a new extension.
