Octel 250/350 Alarm Notification????

I work in both 250/350 and 200/300 systems. The 200/300 systems are set up to call a number when an alarm occurrs (Index 31). Is it possible to set up the Octel 250/350 to the same? If so, can someone provide me with directions to do so. Thanks in advance.

No, the 250/350 do not have this option.

Thank you for that information. Do you know of any alternative solution to this? Just trying to get something set up to notify us if the System Capacity is getting full or if there is a NSA or SA alram. If not, then I guess we're out of luck. Want to make sure I got everything covered.

It is not made by avaya. it is called a dial pro and we do sell it. It hooks to the modem port on a 250 and you can also hook it to your lan. it also has dry contacts that hook to the system and then you can set it up to look for alarms or tell it to look at all alarms. it can call a phone a pager or a modem and it will also send an email to 3 email addresses to advise you of a alarm or problem.

kxboy - We use the SEB's for PBX's. Haven't heard of them being used for monitoring VM systems. I'll have to look into that.
