Thanks a lot in advance for your help. I've come across a strange problem that doesn't seem to come up too often.
The phone system I'm administering has Merlin Magix integrated with the Octel 100 system. While changing some settings for a few mailboxes, I've somehow created a system-wide change where any number dialed in from outside the system no longer works correctly.
Instead of getting a greeting when the call is picked up, it skips directly to recording to voicemail. To the caller, there is just silence after the ringing stops. No greeting, no beeps, nothing...
Has anyone encountered this before? If so, please give me some pointers on how to track down the cause of this problem.
