Octane system alert

Hallo,

i want to clone a disk on our Octane ( IRIX 6.5.12m)in "single user mode". After a view seconds i've got the message:
ALERT: RAD thread held off for more than 32ms

This massage repeats continous, so it's impossible to enter a command.

Is there anybody who know what the message means and how to stop it?

I also get the message usually but I ignore it. So far it has not caused any troubles to me Thief................ :
(I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us .)
