I have so far been unable to get movies to play back through my Octane's Octane Personal Video board video outputs, although I can display what is on the Octane's screen through the board's outputs.
In MovieMaker, under the Control>Output Video To menu command, the only option given is "Graphics Screen". I have been trying to find some way to cause an additional option of "Video Out" or something like that, but so far without luck.
Same situation with the MediaPlayer application.
The MovieMaker command "Print To Videotape" causes playback to the screen, not an output of a video signal through the Octane Personal Video board.
In the Video Panel, the Octane Personal Video Device Controls show the Default Out as "Video Out" but I do not see any controls for selecting the overall system default to display video to the video output rather than to the screen.
When I run the MediaTools mini-application "VideoOut" the screen graphics are displayed through the video output of the Octane Personal Video board, so I know that the board is working.
Any ideas? Or is Octane Personal Video only capable of outputting what is on the screen? Can a video clip be played through the Octane Personal Video using shell commands?
Thanks!
