We currently have Aura Communications Mgr 5.2 and using CMM as our voicemail system. We also use Mutare as the app that allows us to put the voicemail in Outlook. My question is, is it possible to install an OCS server and only use the portion that would allow us to put the voicemails into Outlook? We don't want to use OCS for any call control. We do currently have an AES 4.2 server we use with voice recording.

nope, but why not use exchange 2007/2010 UM works perfect with CM 5.2 and OCS siptrunking is default on 5.2

just make a sip trunk to Exchangen an get rid of the IA770

takes 5 min to configure......

Tried to integrate Exch2010 UM on Avaya Aura MBT 5.2.1(CM5.2.1 / AES 5.2.0 / SES 5.2.1)

UM answers, but cannot retrieve the dialed extension number (mailbox not allocated).
It only retrieves the UM-huntgroup number.
When calling auto-attendant we can connect back to the ACM via name-dialing. This works fine.

Did you do exactly the same setup as for Exch2007 ?
On SES we got some differences with the views from the manual. Think it might have to do with our issue.
