OCR exams?

Hi there, when I book my exams with Pearson Vue I notice that there are other A+ exams that are alot cheaper about a third of the price of 220-301 and 220-302.

CR0-301 OCR A+ 2003 Linear Core Hardware Exam

CR0-302 OCR A+ 2003 Linear OS Technologies Exam

I am already A+ certified but I can't help wondering if I could have booked these cheaper exams and passed?

What are these OCR exams?

Since September 30, 2004, the only exams that qualify for A+ Certification are the 220-301 and 220-302.

The exam code for the CompTIA A+ Core Hardware exam is 220-301. The exam code for the linear CompTIA A+ Operating System Technologies exam is 220-302.

The linear format exams are retired.
