I have an Exchange 5.5 server that is running fine for the most part but is experience a few troubles sending mail sometimes.
Its only mails with attachments as far as I can determine and it only happens about 1 in 10 times. When a mail is sent with an attachment (very small ie approx 10KB) most of the time it sends straightaway but some of the time the mail will sit in the Outbox for a couple of minutes before sending.
We are using Outlook 2000. I initially thought it was an Outlook issue but after re-installing Outlook and testing the problem on different machines with different mailboxes it would appear to be server side.
Could this be something to do with the MTA perhaps? I'm a bit stuck so any help is much appreciated.
Thanks
