obtaining a ntwork printers i.p & MAC address

hello there

WE have just had a new printer installed on our network in the workplace, now i am responsible for documenting all the I.T info on our server, can someone please inform me about how i would discover the i.p and m.a.c address of this new printer.

What printer is it?

Its a Sharp AR-C160

I Have a sharp c450 and on the control panel on the printer itself;
press menu twice (or until custom settings) press OK
down arrow to print list press OK
down arrow to print custom settings and press OK

This will print out your custom settings which will have your ip address on.

We don't use Sharp's ourselves but I would have thought that the Sharp Printer Administration Utility (PAU) (see

http://www.sharpusa.com/products/applications/printer_admin_utility/1,2704,2-2,00.html)

would be able to discover it on the network (and much more).

If the PAU didn't come on CD with the device then it can be downloaded from the link above.
