Obtain name of weekday through a date in string format

Hello!!

I´m trying to obtain the day of the week (eg. Monday, Tuesday.. ) giving an argument that is a date but in the string format.

Any idea how I can do this?

I´m trying something like ToDate=("15-11-2002" ,"dd-mm-yyyy&quot. But when i use the dimension i get the following error: #ERROR

Can anyone help me here?

From the help on functions:

ToDate(character string, string format)

Description

Applies a date format, specified by the string format, to the character string.

Example

ToDate("10/04/1994", "mm/dd/yy&quot returns 10/04/1994.
