I have a fairly standard app using printer output via TPrinter, built in Delphi 6 on a Windows NT network. Output is directed to a network printer.
While debugging, I invariably get the message "Operation not supported on selected printer" when a print job begins. Delphi then displays the CPU window. I sometimes also get a message saying initialisation of a spool DLL has failed.
The app is used by over 1000 people, and most have no problem when running the EXE directly. However, a few DO get the error message, and I am unable to reproduce the problem on my own PC, (except in debug mode).
Does anyone know what's going on, and how to get round it?
Regards
Samuel
