ObjectStore internal error ????

Hi,

when i try to apply the settings in configuration manager, i got an error that says:

ObjectStore internal error
VirtualAlloc failed to allocate at any address - Not enough storage available to process this command. (8)

What should be the cause of this. How do i solve this problem ?

Ricardo,
There's a couple of documents on the Cognos Knowledge Base (1009417 & 1009574) that indicate a change to the OS_AS_SIZE environment variable might solve the issue. I suspect that means a trip to the Registry on a WinTel box. Given that ObjectStore is a third party application, you may get more info on the Progress website (the forum here in TT is a wee bit slow).

Yeap, adding the OS_AS_SIZE environment variable with 268435456 value works fine.
