How does one insert a tiff image into another vector shape and have the tiff image snap into the shape in which it is inserted? E.g. the tiff to follow a wavy line?

That is probably something that you would accomplish using Illustrator. AFAIK, there is no way to accomplish this using ID.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

If I understand you correctly, you can put an image into any shape of frame you want. You can then copy and paste that object into a text on a path frame. Create the path type frame along whatever path you wish, then click an insertion point on that path and paste objects.

I think there's a tip about this up on adoveevangelists.com.
