Objects into glass

I was unable to find anything on this which surprises me. I am wanting to make a yin and yang design into glass. I want each side to be a different color so the design can be broken down into the two parts with the hole in the center of the round part. I've searched the internet for tutorials, but can only find tuts for balls and buttons and some for PhotoShop. I tried to apply the techniques from the balls and buttons, but I'm not getting a very good result. Any help would be very appreciated. I use X4 version.
