I'm messing with ORACLE8 the "Object-relational database". Ha!
I have a question about manipulating objects in object tables using the objects' methods.
"Can I select a number of objects (one or more) from an object table in ORACLE8 then use the object methods on those selected objects and store any changes made by the methods on the objects back into the object table?"
and
"If so, how?"
As far as i can see at this stage there is no real point to using objects in databases unless this question can be answered.
I'm lost and discouraged. Please help me.
