Objects from Illustrator to Pagemaker??

Any input on what the best method is to move objects from Illustrator 9 to PageMaker 6.5 on WinXP?

The objects are line drawings that were originally AutoCAD .dwg drawings and brought into illustrator. Would it be better to export, save as a certain file type, copy/paste or some other way? Which way will give me the most accurate transfer to PageMaker6.5?

I usually have no problems with EPS format.
