I have an application that uses objectivity database as the backend. It is not functioning properly and the error messages indicate that the database is "full" or "exceed maximum size".

There are about 20 databases that range from 5 to 9GB in size for a total of about 96GB. Does anyone know for sure if this is in fact a limitation of objectivity?

Thanks for the useful reply, I would have never thought of those. The product is discontinued by a defunct company.

CERN uses (or used) Objectivity for massive storage requirements (output from collider experiments running to gigabytes per second), a few Gigs shouldn't be a problem.

You might be running up to problems with physical diskspace, maybe temporary filesystems are full or something like that?
