Object Repository Helper

Hi

CR10 and CE10:

I have saved a image to my repository. I have used this image in a few reports. I then changed the image, and saved it over the old version in the repository. I then went to the Object Repository Helper in Launchpad, and clicked on "Refresh all reports on the CMC". It then seems to work its way through all objects.

I re-run one of the reports, but the update has not occured. Can someone advise?

When you save the report there's an option to update the objects or some such, if you did not select it it won't be updated.

I don't have it in front of me now so I can't give the specifics.

Ok I have done that, saved another image in place of the existing image (to test):
Refreshed the report - no change
Ran Object Repository Helper - it runs through the objects, briefly lists the objects saved as suggested above, but then ends up in an error "An error has occured: Item SI_Refresh_Options was not found in the collection"
I refreshed the report again in case it worked. It did not.
Any ideas

Check a couple of things:
Go to your CMC (Crystal Management Console) and pull up the report. Click on refresh options. Do you have "Use Object Repository when refreshing report checked"? This must be checked to have the Object Repository Helper include the report when it refreshes.

AFTER your saved the original image to the repository, did you drag the image (using Crystal Reports designer) onto the report canvas FROM the repository? That establishes the link that is later updated.
