Hi!

What is an Object Oriented Databses?
Where can I get some materials on it over the net?

Thanks in advance.

An OO database is one that supports objects created within an OO language.

Traditional RDBMS can usually only support specific data types, OO languages introduce such things as Abstract Data Types that are user defined and therefore difficult to cater for in a traditional RDBMS.

Here is some info for a start, but really you will find lots of stuff on the net relating to OODBMS and SQL-3, an SQL standard created for querying this new type of database.
