I have a windows program running with an embedded browser control. Everything is fine when the reports are generated on computers connected to the server where the Reporting Services 2000 is installed and running. The problem is trying to print a report when a user is signed on via Terminal Services. I get the following error: An error has occured in a sciprt on tis page, Line 20, Char 4, Error: Object Doesn't Support This Property or Method, Code 0, URL https....

I found some info online about KB956391 causing the problem, but I can't find that it has been installed on the Terminal Server. Is this some sort of security issue with IE where I have to allow scripting in the security settings?

Does anybody have any ideas? I have searched the web for answers and even tried installing the RSClientPrint.cab manually but it did not help. The Terminal Server is running Win 2003 with IE8. Getting desperate here!

Does this have to do with the M$ KB error that doesn't allow printing without admin rights?

Thanks, I will take a look at those resources. Do you know exactly what KB causes that? I am thinking about unistalling KB956803 that I found on the server. I did not find KB956391 or 961260 on the server which I have seen referenced as a potential problem.

Apparently Microsoft knows there is an issue and a problem and supposedley fixed it with another hot fix, but I still have to keep it unistalled.

I don't see KB956391 on either the report server or the terminal server. This is driving me crazy. I think I am going to enable every security setting I can find to see if I can get it to work.

Let us know if you get it fixed. I will keep an eye out for something too. Good luck!

Oh. One more thing. When you go to "Add/Remove Programs," make sure you check the box to "Show Updates" if you haven't already. All of the KB updates are under "Software Updates" for Windows xx.

When I click on "MonikerRegFix.zip" on the web page I get "The Page Cannot Be Found". Is that how you downloaded it?

I'm getting the same thing now. I did a search for it with no luck. I did email them about the bad link though. I would suggest you do the same!
Brett

Not sure if this will help instead?

I just got an email from them (and tested it). The link has been fixed. Please let me know if that fixes it! :)

I got the same email and just downloaded the zip file. I will try to test tonight after the other users have signed off.
