OBDC 3.51 SetUp problem - Error code 126

I've used the MySQL ODBC 3.51 set up programme to establish n OBDC driver on a machine running Windows 2000 Server ( I AM logged on as Administrator ).

This seems to have worked fine. However when I try to create a new data source on the machine ( Control Panel - Admin Tools - ODBC Links ) I get an error box saying

The setup routines for the MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 126


When I close that dialog box I then get a message

Driver's ConfigDSN, ConfigDriver, or ConfigTranslator failed
Could not load the setup or translator library



Any ideas about the cause / resolution ?
