Hello,

I updated a self signed certificate on a SBS 2008 Server and some problems started to show up. I am not sure if they where just buried before or if this started the problem. However I have fixed most things except for one item. They keep getting a popup asking them to login to remote.domainname.com

Searching through the Internet I think I have spotted the problem. When I test email autoconfiguration I see the section of OABURL and it looks like this:

<OABUrl>Public Folders</OABUrl>

From what I have seen on other sites is it should start with a https:// and the rest of the URL. So my question is how do I find the correct URL and what command do I use to update this?

Thanks for any advice,

Zych

While I know how to go about changing this in the powershell or Exchange GUI, I think it would be best to rerun the InternetName wizard, test it, and then if needed reimport the cert using the certificate wizard in the console. That would bring all the URLs and settings into alignment.

It sounds like your OfflineAddressBook has not been configured to distribute via web, which is a simple checkbox. Alternately, you are looking at the wrong section of the Autodiscover results, since there are usually two sections in the results, one for external access and one for internal access. Your internal access may be set up with the wrong URL, but it's probably not Public Folders.

Thanks for the response! I will look into this and see if it does the trick.
