O2 hard drive replacement: WC vs. LC?

We just bought a used O2 and the system sounds like a jet taking off. I thought the hard drive bearing may be going out and ordered a replacement (Seagate ST34501WC). I was sent an ST34502LC which is a Low-Voltage Differential scsi that can be used as a replacement in a Sun system. Anyone have experience to know if it is usable in an O2?
