Have an Option 11c cluster at HQ office and a mini remote at one subsidiary location. The users that hang off the mini are not seeing the same NXX tables as the central office (forced to use area code for prefixes that do not require area code at HQ). If I try to add the prefixes directly on the mini via LD 90, I get the ESN072 already exists error. What am I missing? Thanks

Do a print of
LD 90
REQ PRT
CUST 0
FEAT NET
TRAN AC1
TYPE ALL

This will list all NPA, NXX, SPN, etc then you will see why it won't work.

Against the Mini or the central Option 11 or both?

CHECK BOTH SWITCHES IN LD 90 FOR THE NXX'S IN ? ALL SWITCHES IN ? NEED TO HAVE THESE NXX'S .. K ..K
SO THEN PRINT YOUR CUSTOMER DATA BLOCK TO SEE IF HLOC
AND OR NPA IS PROGRAMMED FOR SOME AREA CODE. IF YOUR LOCAL NPA OR NXX IS NOT THERE THEN THIS IS WHERE THE PROB COULD BE. HOWEVER, I WOULDN'T START CHANGING ANYTHING UNTIL YOU POST THE CUST. DATA BLOCK OF ALL SWITCHES IN ? AND POST A COUPLE NXX'S TOO! THE RLI'S WILL SHOW WHAT TRKS YOUR CALLS ARE GOING OUT. AND IF THEY GO TO THE OTHER SWITCH AND THEN OUT TO THE NUMBER.

If you dial an NXX at the MINI, it should be sent to a RLI that sends it on a route to the main switch with a DMI that inserts the NARS access code that the main switch users dial to access a local number.

Thanks for all the help. LD 90 under both switches shows:

NXX 498
RLI 1
SDRR NONE
ITEI NONE

Under the CDB on both switches there is no entry for HLOC. The NET_DATA sections are identical except that the Mini has TRNX set to "NO".

Thanks to all. After looking at the Route Data Block on the remote I noticed that there was no route 1. The RDB on the remote showed that the Route to the main switch was identified as 100. I changed the NXX entry on the remote to reflect an RLI of 100 and the calls are working. Don't know if this is the correct resolution, but it seems to be working,

Regards
