Has anyone had problems with the AC Adapters for the HP Compaq nx9600 laptops going dead. We have a dozen or so 9600 laptops and we purchased an extra adapter for each one. In the year that I've been here I have had 10 or more die for no reason. I call HP support each time and until recently they have been quick to send a replacement. I say "until recently" because I have 3 of them that have been sitting my floor for almost two months. I've called HP a total of 4 times and they reorder them but they never arrive. I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with them last week trying to find out why they haven't arrived. After speaking with their claim status department he said that that was no record that they had been ordered and trasnferred me back to tech support where they said they had been ordered but had no explanation why they hadn't been shipped. So tech support conferenced me in with the claim status department, which took 15 minutes, and he told her to reorder them again. She did that and said they would be here in 24-48 hours and that was a week ago. I check the status online and all it says is "on progress".
