I have a NW 5.1 server running nw agent 7.0. It backs up to AS 2000 with SP3 on a Win2K server. When the backup starts on the SYS Volume the server abends and the backup on that server locks up. It only does this on the SYS Volume. If I skip the SYS Volume the other Volumes back up fine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Had the same problem with 1 of our Novell servers. I found that there were some problems with Epson printer files and Arcserve. We only use HP printers, so I deleted these files and we have not had the problem since...

Had the same exact problem. Fixed it by running a local DSRepair and a vrepair on the Client Agent server (the one that has the Sys: volume causing problem) as well as the Arcserve host server and the problem was gone right away. I also rebooted both before doing the repairs just to refresh everything.
