nwadmin slow to start

When ever I start Nwadmin it takes 5+ minutes to populate the various fileds. The X based gui goes balnk and the Windows will not display. Tried restarting the networker server and stroage nodes but that has not helped. Any time a save starts the GUI freezes. I am also missing any group information in the GUI but the backups still work.

Any one any ideas ?

This usually points to "network related problems" whatever might fall into this category.
