nw6sp3 iso install problem

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to install netware 6 from a downloaded iso image (includes
sp3). During the install I get the following error messages:

USBIO.NLM could not be loaded
HWDETECT.NLM could not be loaded
File c:\NWINST.TMP\XINITLD.NCF was not found
File c:\NWINST.TMP\RESPONSE.SAV was not found

Does anyone have an idea why I am getting these! As HWDETECT.NLM is
involved is it due to my hardware? I have had netware 6 sucessfully
running on the same machine without any service packs.

Once I hit enter to proceed through these
errors the install eventually halts at the start of the GUI with the
following on the logger screen:

The product could not be installed due to an initialization error.
CSS.NLM Initialization waiting for XMGR (60 sec.) and so on in time. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I think you'd better install your server with the Netware6 original install CD and after install, you patch it with NW6SP3. I've seen that the overlay NW6SP3 CD can't install correctly all servers but is a good solution to add product when your serveur is in SP3.

I concur with Pat...
I've seen problems with using the SP overlay on older hardware.

Your best bet is to install with the original CD, then apply SP 3
