Can someone please help.
The Monitor is showing SYS volume is 1803% FULL
It is an NSS Volume, and is only 5GB in size, and there is only 2.3GB of data on the volume.
Compression is turned ON.
Running NW6 SP2

I searched the Novell KB, and found only 2TIDs.
One said that a Pool Rebuild will not fix this, and have to run "NSS poolrebuild sys /purge"
But it errors with "/purge" option not found.

I have also run "COMPFIX -fs sys" which fixes any compression errors.

Plus we ca getting "NSS Volume sys is out of disk space" on the Console.

There were some cosmetic issues in early NW6. best thing to do would be apply SP4. If that doesn't fix it, then try rebuilding your pools. Every time I've seen this, the SP has fixed it.

OK its fixed.
Logged a call with Novell and its seems to be the free blocks that are not purged. doing a normal purge does not fix this. You need to run a nss poolrebuild with the /purge option. But this option done not come with SP2 or SP3.

.
Here is the TID fot the Patch. NSS3C.

The number of "freeable blocks in salvage system" was up to 5billion. after the nss purge that figure was down to 56.
and it was showing normal statistics.
