Hmmmm, you might try putting the client software on your c: or d:, go to the admin directory in the client software and completely remove the client software and then reinstall it.<br>
What looks like is happening is that somehow the winsock.dlls didn't get updated. During the normal NetWare client install, Novell actually runs a Microsoft update to the winsock.dll. Or are you running some special software that changes the winsock.dlls back to some private ones???<br>
Maybe you don't have to remove the client but just try first reinstalling it?
I did reinstall the client, then upgraded the client to 3.2<br>

The problem lied in the policy where I was not pointing to the IP address of the server the Zenworks Inventory was located. I was using a DNS name. Novell has a TID #2952941 which addresses this. <br>
