Hello,
Who has experience in changing a compressed
volumes SYS in a uncompressed Volume SYS?

Is the way with Serverimage possible? Or with Tcopy?
install a new uncompressed volume
copy the volume with servermagic to sysunk
delete the old sys, and rename sysunk to
sys.

Witch is the fastest way?

Thanks for help

The fastest way is just to make sure that sys has 'dont compress' checked on the volume attributes

I agree with Tat. As a matter of principle, SYS volumes should not be configured with compression because of the system-critical data stored on it. However, deleting and recreating the volume is a faff, therefore the easiest way is as Tat says. "It's true, its damn true!"
