Additional Information:
The CPU encountered a problem executing code in NSS.NLM. The problem
may be in that module or in data passed to that module by a process owned by

I would reapply SP3 and the NSS patch and run a full DSREPAIR for a start. I don't know if you can run vrepair on NSS volumes, if you can do that as well.

Are you loosing the diskspace on SYS? Have you got SYS configured as a standard volume, hope it is not NSS! -----------------------------------------------------
"It's true, its damn true!"

i'm losing diskspace on vol1 (nss volume)

Hmmm, check your NSS volume to see if there are any odd named files on there eating up the diskspace. If necessary run an NDIR report asking for files over a certain size (run NDIR /? ALL for the syntax). -----------------------------------------------------

is there a large memory dump on the IBM or on the DOS partition? Also, how big is ABEND.LOG? Are you using software or hardware RAID? Could you possibly have a dead disk? Does the backup run on the same SCSI card as the hard disks, and is it running when the server abends?
