NW Exchange Directed Recover Error

I want to restore an exchange 2000 database onto a recovery server. We are using NW 7.2 on Windows 2003 server, Exchange server is W2000 with Exchange 2000.

If I restore the database from a tape still in the file index I haven no problems. If I try this from a tape only in the media index and not in the file index I get error: no entries backed up to server...

I scanned the tpaes which hold the db data and still get the same error.

Who can help me?

If you get the message "no entries backed up..." then your index is not correctly updated.
Try to rescan the tape with the command: scanner -i -S <ssid>
and then verify that the index is correct: mminfo -S <ssid> -V
