We have a NW5.1 server that is a member of a cluster and abends once a week. I found a TID stating that the cause is that a routine is trying to access a file which has only spaces in its name. My question is how do I search for and delete a filename that contains only spaces? Anyone know of a utility, Unix command or trick?

Thank you
Dennis

Typically, if Novell is trying to "access a file", they are making an attempt to execute the file. Therefore, deleting the file will not solve your problem, since Novell will simply try to access a non-existent file.

2nd I believe that Novell will analyze two abend logs per year for free. Please see , as I believe that you are not addressing your true problem.
