Been through the mill on this one. Unplugged and waited minutes. Plugged in and a few hours later alarm 50-. Rebooted, waited few hours later alarm 50-. Reinstalled, waited few hours no traffic alarm 50-. Got regional reps out(Telus) did most of the same things I did. Declared hard drive faulty (C$1,900). Replaced hard drive, wait few hours alarm 50-. ANy one seen this problem?

Sounds like a connection problem, try a new fibre cable or another port on the expansion cartridge or replace the expansion cartridge.
Telus serviced this? where abouts?

Thanks for the response. Swapped fiber with a MOX16. MOX16 did not alarm. NAM did. MICS has 2 expansions moved NAM from Mod 11 to 5 (different cartridge). NAM died new Mod 11 did not. For your info MICS is close to full; dozen lines, 120 sets. Telus in BC.

Perhaps the fibre board in the NAM, if you have a spare NAM then swap the fibre board to at least see if that is the problem.
Telus aquired WILTEL which was TTS a few years back here in Toronto and they were never much good for Norstar but rocked in the PBX dept, why I asked.

Unit is all fiber. Thanks for pointing me in a different direction. Unfortunately spare fiber boards are not something we carry. I will try "borrowing" one from another site next week. I'll let you know.
