I have a client with a Norstar MICS 4.1XC witha NVM-NAM 4.0.04C - Fiber 8 channel

They have (11) LS/DS Analog Trunks, NO CLID.

On inbound calls, their AA answers on 0 rings.
When trying to dial a KNOWN extension number, the system must be mis-interpreting the DTMF signal. The error is "invalid extension".

If you go to the Spell-by-name directory (if you can get there!) it NEVER Interprets the proper digits associated with the name and offers the " no matches found" error.

I have already changed the AA to answer on 1 ring and on 2 rings, with the same results.

This system has been up and working for a year with no problems.

Could this be a problem in the trunk card, causing the NAM to misinterpret the DTMF??

Any other ideas??

assuming these are calls NOT from a cell phone
the CP had similar problems and there was a fix for that
is it happening on all of the NAM channels?
get it to the latest 'E' version as well

It is happening on all channels. I monitored the channel status in ACCESS2 admin.

Latest E Version??
Please explain.

Dave
