NVM 4.0 , class of service question

Hi again all,

Looking to change COS on a mbox so the off prem notification only calls out once. Which COS should I use?They are currently set at COS 1.

It's NVM 4.0 NAM

( I only have a flash manual which is restricted to 8 COS setting and none that will allow just one notification.)

Set it yourself by going into mailbox programming and pressing 1. This will bring up cos editing options.

COS 1 is 3 attempts at 5 minute intervals and is the lowest.
You would have to edit the COS to change it.

As Photon33 states you could try to edit that way or use NVM or hyper terminal to edit.

You can only edit COS through a phone on a R4.1 NAM. If it is R4.0 you will have to use Voicemail Manager software.

Thanks guys,

I did go into NVM mgr and edited COS 1 to indicate 1 attempt instead of 3. Also changed password expiry to 0 days while I was at it.

You could also enable the call record feature while you're in there.

When an Aternate Language isnt being used we would leave the Odd COS as default and make all our changes in the Even COS. That way you would have 16 different COS. All you have to do is change the Prompt language from alternate to prime in the Even COS and make your changes.
