I have an NVM 3.0.010b. I programmed a CCR tree to transfer a call into a small call center. I also programmed a single digit transfer to dial offsite to an 800 number. I programmed the path 4 to xfer to ext via a pool F/Pool 6. The phone number dialed is 1800xxx-xxxx. I disabled the tree to program it, enabled the tree and tested it and get the following message: "The line or line pool configured for this call is not valid." It then returns me to the CCR tree message. I have tried it with the line number and a pool number. I even checked the NAM port and gave them access to the line pool. What am I missing?

a qualified vendor?

I am a qualified Norstar Tech working for a Call Center. Why do you ask?

BB,
Do you have a line pool F/6 on the system?

PhM

Sounds like you don't have Supervision on the line from the Telco or maybe turned on in programming.

Yes...The lines associated with this group (6 lines) are part of line pool F or 6. They are answered by the AA on 0 rings. My thinking is that the AA which a fiber NAM is in control of the call. I even went so far as to program the ports on NAM to have line pool access to each of three line pools and it works on none of them. I tried programming it to select a line that I knew was in the same pool group but in the middle of the group...Still doesn't work.

You sure it is turned on from the Telco? Because here it is not unless requested.

BB,
Ensure you have an access code for the line pool programmed. It is possible to assign lines to a pool and not assign an access code.

PhM

Thanks ARR, The line pool group needed its own access code even though you can dial 9 from a phone in the group and the calls go out. I assigned a number to it and it worked!!!! We can't all know everything.
